SEQUENCE

Selecting "Sequence" enters the sub-environment in which it’s possible to define the Sequences (also called "Cycles" or "Tests" or "PRV").

The Sequences constitute a fundamental automation tool because:

  • are made up of sequences of "GEN" Actions performed with normal priority
  • use the Counters to exchange private parameters with the same Actions
  • have pages that can be managed by Conditions
  • have the possibility to load specific alarm configurations for each page

In AdaMo the Sequences are the tool to contain all the most complex automation; they can combine "GEN" Actions with "RSTCP" Actions with Profiles with Alarms.

In "Run" the Sequences can be triggered manually by the operator or automatically by a "GEN" action (outside the Sequence itself).

In this image we see the Sequence editor environment; the use is similar to the editor of the "GEN" Actions but with the following peculiarities:

  • in the "Operation True" and in the "False Operation" it’s possible to select a "GEN" Action to be executed with normal priority
  • the page lasts for the time necessary to complete the Action, which in turn is capable of permanently interrupting the execution of the Sequence
  • the Conditions determine the logical flow of the pages
  • each page can load a specific configuration of Alarms, combined constructively with the default one, which remains active in the following pages until another is loaded (only one configuration can be added together with the default one)
  • the Sequence can be put in "Pause" and eventually resumed from a different page ("Jump"), so for both events it’s possible to perform a specific "GEN" Action
  • the Sequence may end, either due to its own completion or due to a "GEN" Action (included in the Sequence triggered by an Alarm) and in any case the "GEN" Action defined for the event is executed.

In this image we see the configuration settings of a Sequence page.

Through "View ..." it’s possible to see the content of the selected "GEN" action (read only without modifying its contents).

In this image we can see the content of the selected "GEN" action.

In this image you can see where you can define the configuration of Alarms added to the default one.

It’s also possible to assign a name to the Sequence page, useful during its execution in "Run".
