By selecting "Constant" enters a sub-area in which you can define the constants channels (also called "Targa Data"), i.e. the logical channels with fixed value:
In both tables it is possible to
add ("Add…") or Edit (double-click on a line) a channel.
Each new channel is created at
the bottom of the table and can be positioned by dragging.
"Save…" and
"Upload…" allow you to save the entire content of the tables
(together) in a specific folder, i.e. retrieve and make it current; it’s
possible to have multiple configurations for the same channels, typically when
the system needs be able to handle different values depending on the different
versions of the component being tested.
If you upload a configuration of constant channels while in "Run" the total identity of the number, names and positions, with respect to that with which you entered (in practice can only change values), is essential.
If the configurations are inconsistent then it is necessary to exit from "Run", then load the configuration and return to "Run".In this picture you can see the details for each channel constant (here a numeric data type).
In general, for the logical channels of AdaMo specifies that:
When saving or loading a configuration of constant channels is necessary and sufficient choosing the folder where the tables are saved ("Current Folder") with no need to define any name.
In this folder are created the two files visible in the image and then, to differentiate different configurations, different subfolders are used (typically inside the "Files chs" folder contained in the System Directory).
