ACTION RSTCP

By selecting "Alarm" you can enter the sub-area in which it’s possible to define the Alarms’ configuration.

The possibility of adopting a default configuration at the entrance and during the stay in "Run" has already been explained, as well as the possibility to load others in a constructive combination.

An Alarm configuration consists of an alphabetically sorted list of logical channels for which up to 4 control thresholds can be specified (two "high" and two "low") whose violation must be highlighted and possibly trigger a strategy through "GEN" action with absolute (high) priority.

It’s also possible to combine an alarm control with a strategy to be performed without evidence, typically an automation in the background triggered by events without being defined as a real alarm but still to be activated with absolute priority depending on the comparison with thresholds ; in this case, for the specific threshold of the logical channel, is available the "Hidden" mode, which does not determine any graphic evidence, it’s not stored in any file, but in any case triggers the relevant Action.

Alarms are managed only while in "Run"; here they can be disabled (with password) leaving AdaMo without any security check.

In this image is shown the editor settings for Alarms configuration.

In this image you can see the details for each logical channel to check:

    • the thresholds can be defined by constant values or by reference to another logical channel (the "NaN" value in a threshold determines the deactivation of its control)
    • the alarms flash red (and the pre-alarms in yellow) any objects matched to the logical channel in the Native Desktops in "Run"
    • the violation of a threshold ("> =" or "<=" depending on whether "high" or "low") triggers with absolute priority the event combined "GEN" and a queue is available in which any Actions are inserted of alarm waiting to be performed
    • the extreme alarm thresholds may have a consistency delay to ensure that only after that time of violation continues the alarm can be considered as such
    • the "Freeze Desktop" option fixes (only graphically) the values in the Native Desktops until they are unlocked
    • the "Hidden" option allows you to perform the Action without any graphic evidence, in particular without any flashing in the Native Desktops
    • the "History" option triggers the saving of a History file as configured
